Equipping young people and families with business skills, resources, and support to build sustainable livelihoods.
This program empowers youth and families especially those affected by poverty or vulnerability by helping them create small, sustainable businesses. It's not just about starting a business, but learning how to build a livelihood with confidence and community support.
What the Program Offers
The Entrepreneurial Development Program is built to support different groups young men, women, and caregivers through targeted projects. While each project has its own structure, the program as a whole offers:
Skills Development
Training in entrepreneurship, digital tools, financial literacy, and soft skills—tailored to the needs of each project group.
1. Identification & Onboarding We work with individuals who are already running small, informal businesses. These are usually modest ventures started out of necessity to support daily needs.
2. Business Assessment Our team visits the business location, engages with the participant, and assesses current operations, challenges, and growth potential.
4. Verification & Readiness Check Before any support is issued, we review the participant’s plan, confirm the business is active, and evaluate readiness to grow.
5. Start-Up Boost Grant Eligible participants receive a one-time grant either in cash or practical tools to strengthen or expand their business.
6. Follow-Up Support After support is given, we offer regular check-ins, peer support sessions, and coaching to help the business remain stable and grow sustainably, for 1 year.
