About Us

Organization Overview

EDU-Initiative Kenya is a women-led community-based organization founded in 2024 and based in Kilifi, Kenya. We exist to ensure that every child, regardless of background, has the chance to learn, grow, and dream. Our holistic model combines education support, mentorship, and wellbeing programs for children with entrepreneurial training for parents and caregivers, creating stronger households and making learning sustainable. Designed to be simple, practical, and scalable, this model not only helps children stay in school and build confidence but also strengthens families and communities. By working together with parents, teachers, local leaders, and partners, we create ecosystems of support where children are surrounded by people who believe in their potential, laying a foundation for lasting change across Kenya and beyond.
